Welcome to Douglas County Oregon. Douglas County is located in southwestern Oregon and extends from the Pacific Ocean to the Cascade Mountains. It includes the entire Umpqua River watershed within its boundaries, portions of the Umpqua National Forest, and large tracks of BLM O&C lands. The county contains nearly 1.8 million acres of commercial forest lands.
The county has a population just over 100,000 people, 12 incorporated cities, and nearly fifty unincorporated communities.
